Tami Losoncy

Founder

From a very young age, Tami Losoncy was drawn to the beauty and pure joy of music. In 2000, she funneled her passion into her work, founding a music studio (then known as ABC Music for Kidz) with three brand new early childhood music and movement classes she called Bounce’n Beethovens. What started as a small program quickly blossomed into something much more widespread, thanks to the addition of a mobile music program, allowing her to bring Bounce’n Beethovens classes to preschools and in-home daycares across the community.

By 2004, Tami opened a Midtown Tulsa studio, allowing even more families to experience the joy of Bounce’n Beethovens firsthand. Her curriculum’s impact reached even farther when it was introduced on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, where little ones can enjoy it as Maritime Music!

In 2024, MSPA officially rebranded as Bounce’n Beethovens, LLC, marking an exciting new chapter in Tami’s journey. With plans to expand into more local communities and launch a Bounce’n Beethovens online membership and library, Tami’s mission remains the same—to make high-quality, inspiring early childhood music education accessible to families everywhere.

MaKayla Baxter

NYC Director, Instructor

MaKayla holds a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre and a Master of Arts in Nonprofit Leadership (Arts Administration) from Oklahoma City University. She is a lifelong, passionate advocate for equitable arts access, especially for youth, and cherishes each opportunity she has to share music with the littles she teaches. Her favorite part of teaching for Bounce’n Beethovens is sharing new genres with little music makers and watching them make lifelong memories with their grownups!

Katherine Battenberg

Instructor

Ms. Katherine was raised with a musical mom, so music and expressive movement have been a part of her whole life. She and her own daughter took Bounce’n Beethoven music classes together for 1 1/2 years, and then she was recruited to be a teacher in 2012. She was “that mom” who came to class with her own moves. As a music/movement teacher, she loves working with the children, parents, teachers, and teaching/training in communities in Oklahoma and Texas. Bringing opportunities for self-expression, community connection, and a place to explore one’s developmental needs via music/movement is her focus as a teacher. She has taught in the BB studio, preschools, in-home daycares, 32 libraries, and virtually.

A highlight of over a decade of teaching/training was having Jennifer Gasoi, Grammy Award Winner, attend and perform in one of her virtual BB classes during COVID and saying she’d love to have Ms. Katherine "perform with her in Canada one day". You can also see her and her daughter in the Brady Rymer and The Little Band That Could music video titled “Good Looking Mask”.

For two years, she was the volunteer board president for Family Outreach Center of East Dallas, which worked with at-risk families with children from birth to 3 years old. Since 2016, she has also been working at the Laureate Psychiatric Clinic and Hospital in the Eating Disorders Program with female adults and adolescents. Ms. Katherine earned her BA in English from the University of New Hampshire (1993) and her MA in Dance/Movement Therapy from Columbia College Chicago (2001).

Savannah Broussard

She is passionate about music and enjoys playing several instruments. She loves being able to share the joy of music with little ones who are part of the Bounce’n Beethovens family!
